This course covers theoretical and practical control aspects. In the first part of this course basic principles of electrical control circuits; types, components, DC, and induction motors starting, speed control, reversing and breaking techniques. Synchronous generator automatic voltage regulator is also covered. The second part provides students with opportunity of designing, wiring, checking, and troubleshooting practical electro–mechanical control systems.
